Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Tom came to Southern Illinois to attend Park’s College, where he received a degree in aviation science. After beginning his career as a commercial pilot, Tom went on to get his law degree from St. Louis University in 1998.
Tom has dedicated his 30-year legal career to representing men and women who have been injured due to the negligence of others. While he’s known for being a tough advocate in the courtroom, clients often say what sets Tom apart is how easy he is to talk to.
With thousands of court appearances across nearly every county south of Springfield, Illinois, Tom brings unmatched experience to his cases. He has successfully tried matters in Madison, St. Clair, Bond, Sangamon, Shelby, Williamson, Jackson, Fayette, Randolph, Monroe, Montgomery, Saline, and Effingham Counties, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. His practice also extends into Missouri, where he has litigated in St. Charles County, Warren County, and the City of St. Louis.
Tom focuses his practice on personal injury, product liability, and medical malpractice cases. He is particularly proud of helping injured union workers and their families. His clients value not only his proven track record in litigation, but his genuine care for their recovery and future.
